There aren’t many things I watch on TV but The X Factor is one that I always commit to! So when I got the chance to interview Jahmene Douglas this morning, the guy who moved me so much so that I actually picked up my phone to vote for him to win, I was honoured.
Look how quickly a month passes! In my last post, “Drum Roll Please…“, I announced that I was joining Inspirational Breakfast on Premier Radio for 2 weeks – Well, incase you haven’t been tuning in and didn’t know, I GOT THE JOB!
So I mentioned in a previous post, ‘Announcement: On Oct 22nd 2012 I Will…‘, that I had an announcement to make. So here goes…
Why why why why why?!?!?
I’ve been described a number of times (mainly by my sister) as unresponsive and a bit emotionless at times but I’ve recently learnt about something that has shaken, stunned and truely saddened me.
Announcement: On 22nd October 2012, I will be starting something very exciting…! I’ll reveal all VERY soon, but in the mean time, I have more exciting news!
I’ve been nominated for Radio Personality of the Year at the BEFFTA’s (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television Arts) – ha! (Click on BEFFTA if you’d like to vote)
I don’t remember the last time I was nominated for anything – Actually, there may have been something in 6th Form like “sexist girl” or “best legs”…OK, OK, that didn’t happen, it was probably more like a nomination for “nicest girl”…but who wants to be nice right??
…Aren’t you happy that it’s Monday?? New beginnings and all…non? The secret to my happiness is that Monday is my Sunday, as I work Saturday’s on Premier’s Big Breakfast.
So…Where should I start? With my adopted child (OK OK, sponsored child), with Horace, the Evening Standards City Gateway scheme, Sound Women, or just juggle them all like I’m juggling life at the moment…?
So, the nominees have been announced for the Best Gospel Act at the MOBO Awards 2012 and everybody thinks they somehow have the right to challenge this…From Gospel artists, to Gospel music lovers, to Gospel industry peeps, to ME!
Ha, yes, even I’ve jumped on this band wagon, thinking I know better than whoever chose the nominees.
